The conservative-leaning court ruled 4-3 that Gov. Tony Evers violated state law by unilaterally issuing multiple emergency orders to extend the mandate for months; Evers needed legislative approval to issue more orders after the expiration of the initial 60-day mandate he issued in August.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Wisconsin is such a wonderfully run state, except Madison and Milwaukee. I just wish the weather was a little better.
