RTA was created to bail out CTA. It didn’t work. Until CTA reorganizes and cuts out wasteful spending, political and DEI hires, they shouldn’t get another dime. They need to stop projects that they don’t have the money for, and are only doing to award contracts to their friends. Let Chicago pay for their mismanagement of CTA. Leave the suburbs and down state out of Chicago’s financial mess.
