Despite what the Day Drinkers of the Civic Federation say, there is nothing prudent about increasing spending over 40% over such a short time.

The Illinois budget must be cut. There is no other way, regardless of what Mr./Mrs./Ms state employee says.

“must be cut”. “There is no other way”.

The other way is to increase the budget. At best maybe you will elect leaders that will freeze the budget for a few years but you won’t be getting any cuts any time soon. Even though there is no other way. lol

Alas and unfortunately, Mr./Mrs /Ms. State Employee, you might be right. This will screw Illinois with a capital “F”.

JB’s budget is a joke. The budget never includes pension payments.

It does include pension payments. The problem is that it does not include additional debt that accrues when the payments are not enough.
