This is copied directly from HB3522, AKA the Friendly Act. It died, but this is the type of future you can expect under Jelly Belly Pritzker. “Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. I think that Pritzker’s progressive income tax plan will help the middle class if you define the middle class as those barely above the poverty level. I hope Pritzker and others understand that if you raise income taxes on most of the middle class, that’ll accelerate the migration out of IL.
