Sounds like inside corruption at its best. 1. Why shut down a profitable business? Answer-So the main office can steal a bunch more money anyway they can. Even if it means shutting down profitable business’s in other parts of the state.

I don’t believe any of these facilities are necessary anymore. The emissions failure rate is much too small to bother with as those cars that fail will be replaced in a few years anyway. The emission stations have become obsolete as cars get cleaner and hybrids increase. Now the decision is should these facilities be kept as political make work patronage jobs or not. This industry has served its purpose and should be closed.
