How about a “shared” solution? The pension costs are reduced, and the teachers start actually paying more for their cadillac health care, while the money the state saves goes to where it should be spent – facilities and technology for kids. Teachers complain about the water but won’t find a way to share in the solution. Taking it from taxpayers has to stop when I am paying for their full ride in retirement yet my kids can’t get into school. Unfortunately, this will never happen in Illinois. Next option? The democratic machine minority patronage workers at ccc learned from the blm activists who extorted Lori into the statue removal, as well as the terrorist threats of strike from the democratic socialist CTU . They want a year and a half long vacation just like the CPS teachers. It’s time to fire them all.
