Who and how does state of Illinois use to monitor 600 traffic cameras? Is there an army of afscme workers making $6gs staring at screens? Hopefully not fully sworn state troopers?, or is monitoring contracted out? How are other states administrating traffic camera programs
Ring doorbells, I-Pass transponders, private security cameras, speed cameras, red light cameras, cell phone cameras, cell phone tracking, transponders built into cars, blue light police cameras in high crime areas and these guys have a reasonable expectation of privacy in public? No, they don’t. The APLRs can help solve crimes, is that their fear?
I guess it didn’t occur to the objecting parties that they are being tracked on their phones and have been tracked in their vehicles since such technology was installed in the early 2000’s.
