That’s a good article, and of particular interest is how the percentage of stops of a particular ethnic group correspond to the incidents of crime for that group. It shows how flawed the ACLU assertion that stops are racial profiling. The 3 types of crimes listed average 80% happening to blacks, so the fact only 72% of the investigatory stops suggests there is no bias at all. Unless you have white or brown on black crime, it sounds like some other group is getting profiled since the percentages don’t match up.

A set of state lawmakers want to extend CPS’ current school closing moratorium to February 1, 2027 – the same year CPS is set to transition to a fully-elected school board.
