Illinois’ congressional delegation split on ‘Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act’ – Center Square

U.S. Rep. Brad Schneider said in a statement after filing the bill the riots in the U.S Capitol on Jan. 6 were from “domestic terror groups and extremists,” and fighting “white supremacy” isn’t a Republican or Democratic issue.

This is dangerous rhetoric when the ‘enemy’ is defined as fellow citizens who voted for the other guy. And this isn’t just rhetoric, it’s the beginning of a four year long purge.
