Should have made this clear. Talking about unfunded liabilities other than pension liabilities, primarily healthcare. You know, unfunded liabilities whose cost can’t really be determined.

Extremely important topic. State and local debt has been widely discussed. While not widely discussed, the unfunded liabilities could be as high as the debt. Nobody really knows. For example, as dire as the $36 trillion in federal debt is, it is much worse that what is reported publicly. The existing U.S.-published national debt, which consists of debt held by the public and intragovernmental holdings, including debt held by Social Security and Medicare trust funds, is currently at $36.1 trillion. That debt does not include trillions in unfunded obligations. THE TRUE FEDERAL DEBT IS PROBABLY BETWEEN $100-200 TRILLION
