Wirepoints’ Mark Glennon on AM560: Why We Need to “Relentlessly” Make the Blue State-Red State Case
Glennon raised the stakes of the moment in broader civilizational terms: “This election in Illinois is not about the usual pedestrian issues… it’s about nothing less than whether Western civilization survives in our democratic republic of America because [the left], just on the open border alone, will destroy the country, and now they’re bringing in the jihadists, frankly, into the party.” Audio and summary linked here.Audio and summary linked here.
New Trier High School made national headlines nine years ago as a “canary in a coal mine” for political indoctrination in public schools. The canaries lived.
Among the consequences of economic growth that badly lags national averages are billions of lost revenue every year. Yet denial reigns in Illinois, fueling the vicious cycle of demand for higher taxes.
Like NOAA temperature records being falsely adjusted to suit the elites, the ever corpulent JB the Hutt similarly obtains fraudulent numbers for the Illinois census.
I suppose JB the Hutt also has his doctor put his recorded weight at 182.
In my downstate area communities in the past have conducted studies that say that the census undercounted. Can we assume that the census possibly undercounts everywhere in a manner that would not change anything as all communities’ stay relatively the same? I find it so hard to believe that Illinois was specifically singled out amongst its neighbors for undercounting and if new counts are needed then all states need to be recounted.
I’d guess it’s much like nearly every other political decision that comes along: the oil goes to the squeaky wheel(s).
“After Pritzker and Democratic leaders requested a review, the Census agreed it missed or undercounted the 2020 Census for those living in group facilities.” – Are they basing the group facilities numbers on actual people living there or the number of votes cast by the group facility?
So adding 46,000 from senior centers and group homes shows IL is booming. Somehow, I don’t think these 46,000 are adding a lot to IL economy while all the middle class people leaving are taking a lot of revenue with them according to the IRS. Does Pritzker believe his own delusions?
