A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Since when are the demofilth constrained by inflation? Their desire and need to steal your money knows no limits. Leeches don’t stop sucking blood until they are removed or the host dies. Since you won’t remove them, the host will die.
For the IL public union workers and retirees, that’s extraordinarily good news.
That’s bad enough. But given all those revenue increases, has any service related to the county gotten any better? Schools, parks, health care, jail, roads–anything? Of course not. So we have basically received no benefit from all those funds just frittered away.
Yep, and I’d guess that government payroll, and especially pensions rose faster that inflation too.
Yes, in Illinois, increasing bloat is always a high priority.

Ralph Martire never talks about this. He always likes to harp on that adjusted for inflation, Illinois spends less money over his time frames he uses. He thinks that we aren’t taxed enough and wants to expand taxes to services.
Thats because politicians like to use our money like its their personal bank accounts.
