March turned out to be another good month for state revenue collectors. Driven by increases in personal income and sales tax payments, the March totals jumped by $233 million (4.8 percent) over the same month in 2025. That makes two consecutive months of increased revenue after a bad start in January. February revenues increased by 9 percent.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Democrats taxes are working !!!
Maybe they should raise taxes even more. After all, the state needs more revenue to please all the spending desires of the voters.
