“Civic Action Requires More Than Textbooks”: Chicago to Subsidize May Day Protests By Teachers – Jonathan Turley

"Chicago’s subsidy of May Day protests uses public funds in the struggling school system to foster radical political agendas. It removes any doubt for parents about the priority of Johnson, the CTU, and many of these teachers. Some of the sentiments expressed in Chicago could have been ripped from Mao’s Little Red Book and speeches."

There is no doubt what CPS and CTU are focused on and what is important to them…it sure isn’t an actual education or the Kids. None of what they are doing here has ANYTHING to do with education, not even if you stretch it…this is training for activism and using these children as a front. We used to put people in jail who would exploit children…guess now the law makers CTU owns just pays them more.

Will the next step be getting students to spy on parent(s)? Overlords of the Flies. Bring Mommy’s credit card to school so Teacher can buy toys for tots? I WISH this were only a trivial issue but K12 ain’t Sunday School. Bending young minds is what teachers do … often positively like reading but easy to transition to Pritzker Pioneers.

This initiative is R-O-N-G wrong.

So wrong that wrong has to be spelled wrong to fully describe its wrongness.

Wirepoints’ Mark Glennon on AM560: Why We Need to “Relentlessly” Make the Blue State-Red State Case

Glennon raised the stakes of the moment in broader civilizational terms: “This election in Illinois is not about the usual pedestrian issues… it’s about nothing less than whether Western civilization survives in our democratic republic of America because [the left], just on the open border alone, will destroy the country, and now they’re bringing in the jihadists, frankly, into the party.” Audio and summary linked here.Audio and summary linked here.
