Ted was on AM Quad Cities this week discussing Illinois’ FY 2019 budget. Lawmakers may be celebrating their civility and cooperation, but ordinary Illinoisans should lament Springfield’s return to business-as-usual politics.
The budget was negotiated in secret, introduced and passed with no time to read it, and contains none of the reforms the state needs to turn itself around.
