What good does it do for teachers to teach this stuff when their students are basically illiterate and uneducated? These students won’t have the skills to do much other protest and walkout.

Could the CTU just concentrate on math, reading, science, discipline and responsibility? The CTU’s job is to prepare children for adulthood. CTU do your job!
You are drastically misinformed. The CTU’s job is to represent its members. Teachers are responsible for teaching and the union is responsible for representing teachers. They do that through collective bargaining as well as political campaigns to help get like minded people elected to our government.
Who is the CTU bargaining against?
I guess the union members who named their program Teachers For Social Justice don’t understand the distinction you are making.
Enrollment in CPS is plummeting. Any mildly concerned parent has removed (their/there/they’re) child from the system! The teachers are far (to/too/two) radicalized and ignore the curriculum.
If you still have a child in this system, (I,eye,aye) urge you to print this multiple choice test. Present it (to/too/two) (their/there/they’re) teacher and (C/sea/see) if they can pass it!
Its time for a voucher system. Lets see what schools are still standing and what teachers should be dog walkers

And yet the CTU does promote genocide by pushing the narrative that those of means should be scourged, whitey is evil and needs to pay for past crimes and a chaotic, dystopian society is the best option in the future. Going to go out on a limb here and say whites/ Asians are under attack in disproportionate numbers and not by each other.
19th annual?! WTF? This activity is 24/7/365. They call for this crap all the time. American society, values and culture is being pushed aside by teachers unions and Public Schools. Looking at the picture on the article…if you were wondering – These are grifters…
