Yes, make the stores continually approach individuals. Don’t wear a mask, or let it drop. Eventually the stores will tire of hounding people. And if you see an employee at Home Depot loading a rack with his mask down, call management, make a stink, tell them you want them fired. Yup the stores have to be sick of this. I know my local restaurant is. Restaurants are a joke. So you walk in you have to have the mask, then when you walk 10 feet over to your table you take it off! Wow the “magic tables” in the restaurant… Read more »

On Thursday, August 26, Pritzker decreed that all college students, healthcare workers, and school staff from preschool through college must get the covid vaccine or be regularly tested for covid. Nice. My wife and I wont get the vaccine, mostly due to her opposition. Not sure but we may have had Covid in March of 2020, we were sick then but nobody was testing yet then. I’ve seen testimonials of people who went to the hospital and were refused treatment because they were unvaxed. That is a clear violation of the doctors oath! That is the ,main thing that scares us, is if doctors themselves just decide to let unvaxed people go it alone. Or if government orders doctors to not treat the unvaxed.

It’s not just about massive salary increases, but also about money for migrant students, climate initiatives, abortions and gender-affirming care. About blocking parental notification. Count on CTU’s demands to veer further from reality until the public finally says no.

Gov. Pritzker’s ‘ethics reform’ eliminates competitive elections and choice for voters – Wirepoints on AM 560 Chicago’s Morning Answer

Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about a new law passed by the Democratic supermajority and signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that results in brazen election interference, keeping Republicans off ballots; about a referendum that tests the waters for a renewed progressive income tax hike; about how the Parental Notification referendum question was knocked off the ballot; and why laws like that pass so easily.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
