A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
I still have visions of the black, male Seattle police chief, after showing the dash cam footage of some drug crazed lunatic clawing his way up the front of the police cruiser and across the hood, asking “ How’s a social worker gonna help me now?”.
Wow, a whole month of training! These CARE workers, so full of compassion and empathy, are bound to be effective. They will probably ride around in their special CARE car eating Dunkin donuts. They might even offer free donuts to the mentally ill or drug-addicted. Evanston residents can now rest easy as their brainless leaders pour money down a drain.
