One hundred and forty-eight new zip codes, representing parts of 60 Illinois counties, have been added to the list this year, bringing the total of high-risk ZIP codes to almost 1,200. The Illinois Department of Public Health recommends increased mandatory testing for lead exposure of children who live within those areas.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Wonder how many zip codes could be knocked off the list with 1 billion+ dollars that’s currently being spent on illegal immigrants.
