It’s easy for polished politicians to win in one-party blue states but is difficult to translate to national success. It gives them delusions of grandeur that that can win the presidency. I imagine JB, in his presidential nomination strategy meetings, intends to rely heavily on a ground game to harvest ballots in important Democrat primary states. He has a path to win, most certainly a narrow path, but it exists, if he can win enough large, blue primary states. JB (has) done virtually nothing to convince anyone he is a “traitor to his class” He’s held true to his stance that he won’t give tax breaks to the supposed billionaire owners of the Chicago Bears (even though the McCaskey family that owns the Bears aren’t actual billionaires). Conservatives love to dunk on Pritzker for what they view as his incompetence in losing the Bears to a red state (Indiana), but he wouldn’t keep telling the Bears to essentially f**k off if he thought it would hurt him politically.
