How about mandatory birth control for Medicaid moms? Or Medicaid cap of an amount payment of so much for 1 child, so much for 2 or more. Sick of paying for Medicaid moms getting paid for 6 kids. They want more than 2 kids, Medicaid mom can pay for them, or use birth control.

They will tell you that they will tax the “other guy” but ultimately anyone with any assets or a job will end up paying. They want to redistribute income and the majority of the voters seem to love this philosophy.
A perfect example of tone-deaf Democrat-led legislation. The state is broke, it owes $143.5 billion to the pensions fund, and they keep coming up with new ways to spend money. Ted Dabrowski for Governor-you’re our only hope!

Maybe nice, but how are they going to pay for it?
Illinois is broke, largest debt of any state, and democrats just keep digging.
Any bill to increase spending should also require eliminating something else of equivalent costs.
The proposal might be sensible if it included compensatory cuts in other areas. Somehow Illinois Dep’t of Public Health hasn’t got around to updating their birth statistics, but if there are 128,000 births/year, that’d cost $576 million.annually. This is hardly more than the cost of rebuilding an existing functional ‘L’ station. And a lot more useful.
