If he and his CTU handlers declare a “general strike,” they could definitely generate media support and get some good photo ops for the thousands of people who could afford not to work. Mostly public employees. But any general strike would cast such a pall over the city of Chicago that companies, even the PR-focused big ones like McDonalds, would tiptoe out of the city. By five years after such a strike, the big consulting firms and finance firms would magically have shifted people to more welcoming locations. Hello, Texas and Florida and Nevada and Utah. Even the law firms… Read more »

I wonder who can hold out longer, the Billionaire or those that choose to strike… good luck, Mayor Johnson, you’ll need it.

And amidst in the threats by Pritzker and Johnson lies the many tax increases coming. The lemmings are so blind that they are supporting tax increases!

More Demoncrat rabble-rousing. It seems that every union is getting pay raises; where is the oppression? And what % of Demoncrats don’t work at all, or “work” as ineffective teachers, in anti-American organizations, or in make-work DEI positions?

This illustrates how delusional he is. Rule No. 1 for revolutions is don’t try it before the populace is ready or else you are just throwing your people onto the bayonets of the incumbents. In this case, America will never be ready for the socialist workers’ strike he wants, at least I hope.

They insisted that everyone had a right to a college education. They churned students through universities, giving them no marketable skills but a thorough indoctrination. They convinced them all that they should be part of the elite, but the system was against them. They made sure their carefully nurtured revolutionaries left school with nothing but rage and loans that could never be repaid. These socialists don’t need or want the… Read more »

Working people like the kind that are calling for mass shoplifting attacks?

Wirepoints’ Mark Glennon on AM560: Why We Need to “Relentlessly” Make the Blue State-Red State Case

Glennon raised the stakes of the moment in broader civilizational terms: “This election in Illinois is not about the usual pedestrian issues… it’s about nothing less than whether Western civilization survives in our democratic republic of America because [the left], just on the open border alone, will destroy the country, and now they’re bringing in the jihadists, frankly, into the party.” Audio and summary linked here.Audio and summary linked here.
