Northwestern admits NU-Q operates under Qatari law, enforcing nondisparagement clauses that restrict journalism, research, and U.S. civil rights protections. These provisions chill academic freedom at the flagship Evanston, Illinois campus, limiting seminars, speakers, and even course design, since testing or acknowledging the restrictions is off-limits.
😮 We see NU with billions in escrow is willing to ignore the Bill of Rights to bow to Q, Muslim country, just to get their $$!
Is America doomed? I am Charlie Kirk, Harper College’s greatest alumni!

Maybe NW should go after fund from someone else. Quit being pro Muslim and anti semitic. Students should not be forced to take Qatar sanctioned seminars.

I’m surprised to see this coming to light so many years AFTER Northwestern bent the knee to Qatar. Compliance with “nondisparargment law” goes back 15 or 20 years.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
