School Choice is the civil rights issue of our time. It’s vital for Illinois parents to fight for it, even though the entire educational system opposes it. Parents are more powerful than they know. They have the tools to win.
Those are just some of the key takeaways from Ian Rowe, the founder of Vertex Partnership Academies and a senior fellow of the American Enterprise Institute, talking about his own experiences fighting for choice in New York. Rowe was joined by Jennifer Burns of Classical Consortium Academy, a hybrid school based in Barrington, and Preston Kendall of the Cristo Rey Network, for a roundtable discussion on School Choice moderated by Wirepoints’ Ted Dabrowski.
The January 22nd event was hosted by New Trier Neighbors and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation.

- Chicago Public Schools’ twisted goal: End selective enrollment schools while keeping nearly empty, failing schools open.
- Illinois becomes first state in America to go backward on school choice

I agree but how can people fight back when there is such divisiveness even within households. Remember how divided people were on just the vaccination status and many were not welcome to visit without vaccine papers. Unless people somehow organize and go to the polls but with gerrymandered maps specific candidates are a shoe in considering many are unopposed. What are the chances that a republican presidential candidate will win Illinois. They just voted that Trump can be on the ballot so what are his chances if indeed he is the nominee. What if Haley is the nominee? Would Illinois… Read more »

How many people do you know that have recently taken a booster? The status quo literally had to destroy the Canadian banking system (themselves) to stop the Ottawa vaccine protests. It’s all a matter of perspective. We have more than enough sophisticated people to win this. I’ve been making amazing progress by writing letters to influencers and public figures. I’ve can honestly say that I’ve recently changed the direction of major YouTube channels, and this… Read more »
