Pritzker’s Truth Police: How the Illinois Governor Made the Case Against the Trump Indictment – Jonathan Turley

Justice Louis Brandeis once warned that “The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding.” Gov. JB Pritzker is one of those men and he is now offering to police the truth if only you will allow him.

Pritzker knows as much about constitutional law as he does about portion control.

Free speech arguments are simply scratching the surface. There was an influencer inspired riot, if you can call it that, the other day in New York. This is also pertinent and is a great example of why my post below is so important. Please can someone get involved and pull social media data and algorithms for discovery!!! This is critical. Social media technology has the ability to amplify or restrict circulation on any post. Social media is complicit in this riot. A keen observer will realize that any post has the potential to go nowhere or everywhere, depending on algorithms… Read more »

Traditionally, there were two processes to justice, the one official, the other popular. They were carried on in parallel, one in courts of law, and others in press, public meetings, etc. There are many contested issues regarding the right to know vs. the right to a fair trial. What we’re dealing with now is an entirely different matter and far more sophisticated than influence pedaling. This is a willful attempt to overthrow traditional conceptions of social institutions (law, religion, family, government) and consolidate power. Pritzker is a proponent and agent of big tech and the censorship industrial complex. They’re looking… Read more »

They sure are. Both professions have been captured by the left. They are beyond salvageable. There are so many leftists in the profession that they gatekeep conservatives out of the profession, and thus there is no desire for conservatives to even try to make a career in the profession. https://www.aei.org/op-eds/social-justice-shrinks-how-identity-politics-infected-therapy/ Social-Justice Shrinks: How Identity Politics Infected Therapy In winter 2019, Leslie Elliott enrolled as a graduate student in Antioch University’s Mental Health Counseling program. >>>You don’t have a right to use those lies to push people into situations in which they, frankly, are breaking the law or where they are unaware of what their full rights are. So, we need to make sure that people know what their rights are.”<<<

Except for the vax of course…

You don’t need to know what’s in it, just take it because we said so…

How many, pushed into breaking your so called ‘law’, lost their jobs for refusing to get vaxxed…?

Chicago Teachers Union contract demands are totally divorced from reality – Wirepoints

Details emerging about Chicago Teachers Union’s upcoming contract show just how divorced its demands, both extreme and expensive, are from the reality at Chicago schools. It’s not just about massive salary increases, but also about money for migrant students, climate initiatives, abortions and gender-affirming care. About blocking parental notification. Count on CTU’s demands to veer further from reality until the public finally says no.

Gov. Pritzker’s ‘ethics reform’ eliminates competitive elections and choice for voters – Wirepoints on AM 560 Chicago’s Morning Answer

Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about a new law passed by the Democratic supermajority and signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that results in brazen election interference, keeping Republicans off ballots; about a referendum that tests the waters for a renewed progressive income tax hike; about how the Parental Notification referendum question was knocked off the ballot; and why laws like that pass so easily.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
