Epic Fail. The left can put anyone they want there, they will never get elected as their corrupted insane platform attracts too few.

No more IL politicians. They’re all corrupt.

It shows that Rahm wants nothing to do with Illinois or Chicago.

I don’t think that the other 49 states want anything to do with Illinois or Chicago either..

Okay, but who would want to have anything to do with Illinois or Chicago, at this point? Brandon Johnson is a Marxist CTU lobbyist aiming to match Cuba’s economic ruin, and JB is a silver-spoon heir who never held a real job in his life so play-acts governor living his billionaire private-jet multiple horse-farm “let them eat cake” lifestyle, while promoting illegal migrants and Medicaid for all.

Isn’t Illinois Fun?

Rahm is smart, fearless, has a huge pair. He must be looking at Harris and figuring she’s done nationally and ant Newsome and Pritzker, who clearly are already running, and thinking these two are so far left they’ll beat each other out of contention. Seeing the disaster of Biden and Harris he tracks toward the center and this week we see Newsome doing similar. Is that in reaction to Rahm or is his own track record dawning on him regarding his presidential prospects.

Rahm is cunning and cruel, not smart. He graduated from fancy girl’s finishing school Sarah Lawrence as a modern dance major – the ultimate easy major with light reading load, so definitely not rocket-science material.

I recently saw and interview w Rahm, it was then I knew he was going to run for President. He was speaking as a centrist. Regardless of what we, in Illinois, may know/think about him, I believe he will be a viable candidate – much more so than Pritzker. Interesting.

He is a Jewish man who would be running for nomination of anti-Jew party. Good luck with that.

Rahm Emanual is not Jewish, Emanual is a Leftist, of Jewish Heritage. Leftism is the greatest growth religion of the last 100 years.

And it’s not even April Fool’s Day.

Now I know Rahm thinks he’s insulated from the Biden-Harris debacle. He’s doing the weekend DC talk-shows and throwing shade on most Democratic politicians. That said, Rahm’s forever linked to the dead black teenager Laquan McDonald. He reads this site; I hope he realizes his political career holds little future for elected office beyond another term as mayor here.

Both rahm and JB are tax-and-spend financial failures. But at least the Teachers Union hates Rahm. He’s got that going for him.

If this report is true then Tiny Dancer has Bumped his head while in Japan. If the Democrats couldn’t run Josh Shapiro as VP because he’s Jewish. Then how exactly does a Jewish fella run for President as a Democrat?

If the Dems took a look at the last election results, and even Illinois’ results – they would discover the country wasn’t buying what the Democrats were selling. There was a pretty low bar set by Biden and Kamala so anyone breathing and able to speak coherently would likely generate interest by Dems.

There is no introspection on the Left side.

Democrats at their core are a far left party, NOT a centrist party. There’s a reason that there’s no more Blue Dog Dems or Southern Dems in Congress. The core leftist Dems drove them out long ago, even way, way before they adopted their batsh**t crazy core policies like transing kids or DEI. So centrist sounding Dems like Rahm espousing policies that are now the core of the reconstituted Republican party will get him nowhere. Rahm will just appear to be a Republican to the core leftist Dems, so it’s a losing strategy. Then there’s the stench Rahm can never,… Read more »

Yes, you are correct, Rahm’s centrist policies (when he’s not flying the [deleted] flag in Japan causing an international incident) make him a dinosaur in the political world. He’s totally out of touch with the voter. His pragmatic 1990’s Clinton Democrat mindset has little appeal or relevance in today’s political environment. Even his political mentor – Bill Clinton – is most famous today among anyone under 40, not for Monica Lewinsky, but rather, for his numerous visits to pedofile island with Jeffery Epstein. Rahm managed to capture the tailwinds of that goodwill through his mayoralship of Chicago. I will disagree… Read more »

Rahm was a mediocre mayor. For Chicago, that’s praise.

Rahm was great at projecting a global, world class image for the business community and successful at attracting investment. He also furthered Daley’s gentrification push which led to higher tax revenues and an amazing turn around in a lot of CPS schools which the CTU core caucus has destroyed. Rahm’s biggest blunder in my opinion was not the shooting cover up but not taking on the CTU with scorched earth warfare. I think his PR people told him to not upset the rising far left of time, big mistake. Also with the shooting, he was afraid of rioting, which would… Read more »

According to Grok AI: At its core, “[deleted]” is often shorthand for “global homogenization,” referring to a perceived process where distinct cultures, traditions, and identities are eroded and replaced with a uniform, consumer-driven, corporate-dominated global culture. Critics using the term argue that this phenomenon is driven by neoliberal economics, multinational corporations, and progressive social policies, which they see as undermining national sovereignty and traditional values. In this sense, “homo” implies homogeneity—sameness—rather than a direct reference to homosexuality, though the term’s construction can suggest an intentional double entendre. Now my own comment: While Rahm didn’t literally fly the rainbow flag in… Read more »

I’m sure I’m wrong, as I just can’t figure out why some people resonate with the public, but this guy would seem to be a long shot at best. Forget the arrogance, pettiness and vindictiveness which are core attributes he exhibits daily, but this is the individual that orchestrated the payment of $5 million to hush the Laquan McDonald family about his death at the hands of a Chicago police officer. Any opponent would pick at that meaty topic until there were only bones left. And Rahm’s motive was, as usual, self preservation. Seriously, this is a totally unlikable individual.

“How could Nixon have won? Nobody I know voted for him” is often attributed to film critic Pauline Kael in the context of the 1972 U.S. presidential election, where Republican Richard Nixon won a landslide victory against Democrat George McGovern. At its core, the quote illustrates a phenomenon known as an echo chamber or social bubble—where an individual’s perception of reality is shaped primarily by the opinions and experiences of their immediate circle, rather than the diverse views of a larger population. It highlights how personal networks can create a skewed understanding of public sentiment, leading to surprise or denial… Read more »

Wirepoints’ Mark Glennon on AM560: Why We Need to “Relentlessly” Make the Blue State-Red State Case

Glennon raised the stakes of the moment in broader civilizational terms: “This election in Illinois is not about the usual pedestrian issues… it’s about nothing less than whether Western civilization survives in our democratic republic of America because [the left], just on the open border alone, will destroy the country, and now they’re bringing in the jihadists, frankly, into the party.” Audio and summary linked here.Audio and summary linked here.
