Raoul: Marijuana ‘dangers’ justify blocking IL users from owning guns – Legal Newsline

If the dreaded marijuana is such a problem then close the cannabis dispensaries and forfeit the millions in taxes derived from the sales. Now that’s funny.

Marijuana is dangerous, guns are not dangerous.

Marijuana is a terribly dangerous and addictive drug and its use has destroyed more lives than I can count. Don’t believe the lies. It should be illegal.

Agreed! And these loser hippies will tell you it’s safer than alcohol – LIES. It can’t kill you – LIES. You can’t overdose on it – LIES.

A trap for FOID holders that frequently visit dispensaries?

Once again, foreigners, because thats what they are, are abusing our freedoms, and we all should loss them. In addition, this is just another example of why dual-citizenship needs to be ended it this country; your either an American or you’re not. I’m sick of it.

And yet they legalized weed without having the means (desire?) to test drivers roadside akin to breathalyzers for alcohol. You can drive 70 down the expressway or 30 down a side street and smell weed from the car in front of you. No different than drinking and driving, yet prevalent. And now the police are prohibited from using the aroma of pot during a traffic stop as a reason to search or arrest. This is what passes for tax revenue, er, l mean logic from our dopes in Springfield.

First of all, no person who is a citizen of another country, dual or not, should not be allowed to own a firearm. Second, this POS, Hermani not the other POS Raoul, is a known terrorist sympathizer and should be in prison. Third, legalizing weed, especially with high level of THC it has these days, was beyond stupid. It was not done for any other reason than to appease the black supporters of the democratic politicians. I can’t tell you how many times I have driven on the highway and you get an overwhelming smell of burning weed. How much… Read more »

That’s Debbie Downvoter. She downvotes almost all of my posts. You can tell it’s Debbie when you get a downvote within an hour or two at most, and then no one else downvotes the comment. Spooky.

The war on cannabis has destroyed families, filled prisons with nonviolent offenders, and disproportionately disrupted black and brown communities.” J.B. Pritzker 6/25/2019 Signing of Act.

Since our war on marijuana “disproportionally” impacted black and brown communities, wouldn’t enforcing this stance also disproportionately disrupt their right to bear arms?

Bit by bit . These people are wanting to take guns away and do away with the second amendment. Six years in the making

What’s next tracking license plates in liquor store, clearly more “habitual” drinking going on.

Slick, Kwame, mighty slick. Legalize something and then using it as a pretext to grab guns.

Hmm. And remember when Lt. Governor Julianna Stratton celebrated being first in line to buy dope?

Yep and she even had her picture taken doing it. I wonder if budget numbers look any better when you’re high.

Acid, schrooms, blow, and xylazine laced street junk are ok. Let’s focus on marijuana. And Iran.

It’s the ole “never mind what’s over here, THIS is the real problem” ruse. The mental gymnastics these people go through to bend reality are gold-medal worthy each and every time.
