West Suburban hospital sends permanent layoff notices to about 500 furloughed employees – ABC7 (Chicago)

The notices come amid an ongoing court battle between West Suburban Medical Center owners Prasad and landowner Rathnaker Patlola. The two sued each other in the weeks following the hospital's closure in March.

this is not just an IL only problem though as it seems that trump has solved the employment crisis just about as effectively as he has the nationwide housing crisis.

Of course. President Trump’s fault because ya know…as we all know… he has so much involvement in Illinois. The article didn’t do much to enlighten us about why the Hospital was unable to continue to operate. Couldn’t be that there are too many illegal immigrant non-paying patients using government prOgrams and the hospital couldn’t pay bills. Or, the management was inept or crooked…or the owners and landlord are stupid and sued each other into bankruptcy…who knows> But Nah…

The primary factors that led to the hospital shutting down include: Failed Billing System: Hospital executives, including CEO Dr. Manoj Prasad of Resilience Healthcare, stated a faulty electronic medical records and billing system caused massive revenue loss. Correlation is not causation, so your take on the hospital closure is meaningless. Although on the housing crisis issue there is a bipartisan housing bill that Trump could sign but is choosing not to until he gets his SAVE act passed which federalizes all elections.

It seems like Illinois is having a problem keeping employers in business. Well, who cares. Only 500 people out of work. They can get government assistance instead. Illinois has the money and encourages it. And the socialist agenda states that businesses and business people are evil. So who wants them anyway. As one of your genius democrat politicians once told me, businesses are waiting in line to get into Illinois. Throw in more minimum wage increases and tax hikes and it will all get better. The hospitals that remain will fall like domino’s,
next will be Oak Park Hospital., Gottlieb,
Loyola. They can always go to Stroger,
and Rush, Northwestern or what’s left
in the city.
