“Sacrifice” the children and “punish” them are awfully harsh words to use when describing mask mandates. I’m happy to hear that you admit there is research on both ends about the effectiveness of mask wearing, which makes your point a bit confusing. We don’t know 100% if they aren’t helpful so why wouldn’t we want to err on the side of caution with our precious children. The reason children are showing deficits in social emotional growth is the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic. There are multiple variables involved.
