The World fought WW2 because of the actions of an infamous German leader.
Today this infamous leader’s playbook is being used by tyrants world wide.

So:

  • Crime rages out of control in the city proper (Car jackings, shootings, smash and grab looting)
  • Criminals are treated like fish, caught and released to commit more and worse crimes
  • Pension plans teeter on the edge of insolvency
  • Tax revenue is down with people working from home and not travelling into the city, and with businesses shut down or leaving due to riots and looting

But the biggest threat the Idiot Mayor of Chicago can think of is unvaccinated people.

Bra-vo Lori, Bra-vo.

Apparently, we are all safe from Omicron in restaurants, bars, etc. until January 3rd. Funny how that works.

It’s a very evolved virus.

The title of Mayor was abolished; Lightfoot would be known as Fuehrer and Reich Chancellor. Her dictatorship had become complete. To leave no loopholes, Lightfoot extracted from all government employees, officers and aldermen an oath of allegiance—not to the constitution, which she quickly violated, but to herself. Her next initiative was taken from the pages of a tattered book at her bedside, Mein Kampf. The divide and conquer strategy to separate and restrict a class of citizens from their God given freedoms was well planned. Thus, Fuehrer Lightfoot implemented separation of the unvaccinated from the vaccinated citizens in public spaces.… Read more »

Among the exceptions: “Individuals entering an establishment for less than 10 minutes for ordering and carrying out food.” Imagine you’re a managing a Starbucks and expected to enforce that!
I suppose Lori is gonna send around inspectors to go into places, order food, then sit down to eat. If they don’t get kicked out, the establishment gets a ticket. Or maybe shut down?

Well that’l sure keep a proportionally skewed number of blacks out of restaurants, stores, etc. If that was their aim, they succeeded.

I always wondered how a civilized country like Germany let that happen. Never expected to see the answer playing out in the US.

Watch Jordan Peterson summarizing a study of this phenomena (https://youtu.be/JM2o9e-pwoE). It’s brilliant and explains exactly what is happening now. The essence: the German citizens didn’t all wake up one morning and decide to participate in mass genocide. They were all ever-so-slowly pushed little by little (i.e. do this or you can’t do that) over the course of not too many years to become unwitting (or maybe not) participants for the sake of the illusion of protecting their own little corner of existence. By the time the horrors of what they were perpetrating came to light, it was too late, and… Read more »

Business owners need to ask themselves, who do I fear more? The city that could close me or the citizen that could easily bring suit against me?

“I was just following orders” may not be the most effective legal defense against discriminatory business practices.

Effectively forcing the vax on anybody, especially children, is unconscionable. And these words from Lightfoot should make everybody seethe, no matter what you think about the virus: “If you have been living vaccine-free, your time is up. If you wish to live life with the ease to do the things you love, you must be vaccinated. This health order may pose an inconvenience to the unvaccinated, and in fact it is inconvenient by design.”

Correct, Mark. But remember the most racist among us are also the most discriminatory.

It’s absolutely racist. It’s not white north and northwest siders that are unvaxxed. It’s black and brown people. Lori is the slave master telling the black and brown people in Chicago that the Plantation Owner thinks the slaves have too much freedom, and that she needs to restrict their movement on the plantation. This is the most racist stuff. Remember a few weeks ago I said nothing has changed with the racist Democrat party since it was founded by that racist Thomas Jefferson? Here we are 200 years later, and Lori Lightfoot, in the tradition of T.J., is telling people… Read more »

Mark: It is so frightening it’s difficult to put into words. Restaurants and other businesses could be wiped out. The tangential effects of this fascism were either not considered, or were NOT CARED ABOUT. Lightfoot doesn’t care about private businesses being destroyed. Absolutely stunning. And these totalitarians falsely accused Trump of being a fascist. Exactly as planned by them.

Also, she’s forcing the vax on those that previously had covid, and thus have some immunity, in some cases as much as a vaxxed person.

I’m 100% pro-vax, 100% anti-mandate, and 100% anti-vax-passports.

Hold up…the city is forcing people to also provide identification?! How does that correspond to what identification is required when voting?

but anyone ages 16 and older will also need to provide identification that matches their vaccination record.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
