Business owners need to ask themselves, who do I fear more? The city that could close me or the citizen that could easily bring suit against me?
“I was just following orders” may not be the most effective legal defense against discriminatory business practices.
Effectively forcing the vax on anybody, especially children, is unconscionable. And these words from Lightfoot should make everybody seethe, no matter what you think about the virus: “If you have been living vaccine-free, your time is up. If you wish to live life with the ease to do the things you love, you must be vaccinated. This health order may pose an inconvenience to the unvaccinated, and in fact it is inconvenient by design.”

Mark: It is so frightening it’s difficult to put into words. Restaurants and other businesses could be wiped out. The tangential effects of this fascism were either not considered, or were NOT CARED ABOUT. Lightfoot doesn’t care about private businesses being destroyed. Absolutely stunning. Also, she’s forcing the vax on those that previously had covid, and thus have some immunity, in some cases as much as a vaxxed person.
