Chicagoans don’t want to admit it but it is all over the national news.
After George Floyd, there’s no political will to curb disruptive and anti-social mobs of black youths. Black leaders tolerate this behavior because the mobs are black youths. And if non-blacks point out that the kids are all black, the black community circles the wagons around these kids to protect them. Here’s my prediction: during DNC convention, every single CPD cop will be stationed in DNC convention zone, from downtown to United Center, from McCormick Place to Lincoln Park zoo. All the tv news web sites (fox-32, wgn, cbs-2, nbc) have this as their top story?? But astoundingly nothing in st or trib, other than breif mention of kids getting shot as sad as that is?? Is st & trib intentionally not reporting this story as “doom scrolling”/racist news (per rep peters)?
