Put another way, according to your data, Chicago homicide-reporting is down 60 percent.
If Chicago leaders are under-reporting homicides for the purpose of breaking the 13-year string of leading the country in homicides, it amazes me it took them that long to figure out how to do so. Effective crime prevention would’ve worked, too, and it would’ve saved many lives.
