I expect a lot of posturing, podium pounding and promises for action! And then absolutely nothing will change and more people will die. Brought to you by social justice warriors Jabba, BD Lori, Toni Taxwinkle, Lil Kim and Judge Tim.

People have been complaining about the McDonalds for as long as I can remember. Even in the 90s that place was attracting vagrants, wilding youths and unsavory weirdos. Tear it down already.

The Millennium Park Curfew worked wonders last night, the action moved north. Gee, who’d have thought that would happen

Here is the fix for this problem:

Shut down

— the northbound CTA Red Line Trains, South Of The Loop

and

— the eastbound CTA Blue and Green Line Trains, West Of The Loop,

From 5 PM to 5 AM each night, Monday through Thursday

and

From 5 PM Friday night to 5 AM Monday morning.

You’re Welcome

I’m going to take a wild guess that the ilk committing these crimes originated in the areas you identified and that same ilk jumped the turnstile.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
