Natashi Korecki at the Sun-Times seems intent on making herself the poster child for both.   Her latest is headlined, Lawmakers’ Agenda for Bruce Rauner: Turn around and head to Springfield. It says that “Lawmakers seem to have an agenda that says, “Turn around — and get your behind to Springfield.”   Trouble is, nobody said any of that.   She goes on to list a number of other nasty things “lawmakers” and “they” think and say about Rauner. But she cites just

Water is now just outside the top five in importance for company location and moving up.

“In the annals of catastrophic court decisions, the one reached late last week by the Illinois Supreme Court to invalidate pension reform in the Land of Lincoln is right up there at the very top of the list.”

“If changes can’t be made, here is what Gov. Bruce Rauner should do: Lay off the entire state workforce, and close the pension system. Work with the General Assembly to open a different retirement plan for newly hired government workers, modeled after the nation’s most popular retirement vehicle: the 401(k). Then offer to rehire state workers under the new retirement plan.”
