Mayor’s order to push developers to hire contractor businesses owned by minorities, women – Cook County Record

With an executive order issued on August 16, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel spelled out the details that will require developers to submit plans that would include any intended and actual employment of M/WBEs in the proposed design, engineering and construction of any city development projects.
