The hospitals asked the Legislature for $110 million for fiscal year 2021 and a total of $520 million over five years to offset losses as they created the system and built a hospital. Instead, the legislation created an annual pool of $150 million for hospitals across the state for fiscal years 2021 through 2023. State Rep. Allen Skillicorn of the 66th district said the governor’s inaction to fix the state’s unemployment claims website has gone on long enough. The recall affidavit must be signed by at least 20 House members and 10 senators. Once the minimum number of signatures is obtained, the affidavit would then be filed with the State Board of Elections.
