“Tribunals, trials, punishment, prison, and the running to ground and defunding of the entire Trump syndicate” are needed, and Pritzker is the candidate bold enough to call for that.

In the interview, Bailey indicated he would announce his decision on the governor’s race “probably a few weeks” from now, as he continues to evaluate the political landscape and potential opposition to Pritzker’s bid for a third term.

“It’s unclear whether Pritzker has ever visited here. What is clear, however, is that anyone seeking the presidency cannot rely solely on places like Chicago to carry them. More importantly, they must demonstrate a willingness, like Shapiro does, to show up in communities where they may not win a single vote, and to listen and learn from those voters.”

Jackson Potter, the vice president of the Chicago Teachers Union who is among the organizers, told that organizer May Day Strong teamed up with the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) to “bring a Labor Day that’s representative and reflective of best parts of our tradition.”
