23 states: IL, Chicago ‘sanctuary’ laws incentivize illegal immigration, ‘spills’ burden onto other states, rest of U.S. – Cook County Record

On April 8, attorneys general from nearly two dozen states filed a brief in Chicago federal court in support of a legal action from the Trump administration, seeking a court order forcing the state of Illinois, the city of Chicago and Cook County to comply with federal immigration law and allow local government and police agencies to again cooperate with federal immigration authorities seeking to deport criminal illegal aliens.

Thank you Cook County Record for using the correct name “Criminal Illegal Aliens” in lieu of the orwellian doublespeak propaganda lie that the rest of the mainstream media uses.

The day of reckoning is coming for IL with it’s arrogant lawlessness..

At this point the border is locked down so there’s no influx to all the states. If you’re an illegal your best option is to live in a sanctuary city/state. I don’t think their argument makes sense that our sanctuary policy causes illegals to go to their state. Why would an illegal leave IL and go to a state where it would be easier to get deported. Ultimately I hope they win because I would like the illegals removed from IL.

IL never voted to be a sanctuary city! Stop this tax burden on IL taxpayers.

Good – these AG’s have it right. The crime and explosion of benefit program costs of the illegals, which is killing the city and state, is buried by the far-left Chicago “mainstream media.” Also good to see some reporting on the other point of view, which is the majority point of view in the country.
