4 more DePaul students were mugged overnight, one was battered, another pistol-whipped – CWB Chicago

Last Sunday, two DePaul students were maced and robbed in the 1200 block of West Belden, and on Sept. 9, three robberies were reported in under 30 minutes on or near the school’s campus. Those incidents prompted the university’s president to publish a long, public letter in which he acknowledged the “sad reality” of Chicago’s crime problem.

DePaul has been tilting more and more left for ten years or morel. Support for Dem candidates. Refuse to comment on wacky City policies. Never criticize the pathetic criminal justice system. Creating “safe places” for snowflakes. Never take a stand on any important social issue in the City except to buttress progressive ideas. Now maybe they are waking up when the bad consequences of the policies they support are starting to hurt at home.

DePaul just recently celebrated the anniversary of a criminal gang takeover of the DePaul Campus

https://www.audacy.com/wbbm780/news/local/depaul-commemorates-street-gangs-1969-takeover-of-building

It’s that kind of ass-hat liberalism that has made Chicago an unflushed crime toilet — where DePaul students are sitting ducks– for career crime thugs that are unlikely to ever see the inside of the cage where they belong

If you read the CWB Chicago article, they point out how the left wing shit-wipes at DePaul LIED ABOUT EACH OF THESE VIOLENT ARMED ROBBERIES.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
