A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
This is a feeble attempt to stifle the stampede to visit Chicago! When tourist revenue is negative you have a ready made excuse. In an over abundance of caution and unintended consequences. For safety sake we need to make the hard decisions. At the very least it indicates they plan for future excuses. Clumsy is the best we can expect.
Illinois is not on any state’s travel ban because nobody wants to come here.
Pritzger will lock Illinois down, beat his chest with glee, then escape to his Florida or Wisconsin palaces. Typical actions of a dictator.
Anyone see the irony of Chicago placing the entire union on a ‘restricted’ list? They don’t want you to leave the state just like every other authoritarian out there.
