A “grant” from the vastly inflationary bi-partizan boondoggle American Rescue Act Plan of pork-n-privilege-n-woke preference. A grant that likely won’t fix or repair or repaint or rebuild much of anything, particularly given the fact that a guvmn’t invested-n-installed porta-potty in a Chicago park costs taxpayers about half as much as what the private sector spends to build a restaurant or store that actually employs people. Going to line a lot of pockets among the bilious, “Let’s talk about how talking about investment strategies will make you feel happier about your unhappy lives” crowd. Good use of tax dollars. Instead Of Fixing High Crime Areas, Chicago Is Wasting Tax Dollars To Promote Tourism To Areas That Visitors Wouldn’t Dare Visit

As residents, we know to avoid certain areas, tourists do not. Promotions like this won’t end well.
