Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Gotta wonder how low her IQ is.
I presume if she believes the virus is racist, then bullets must be racist too.
Her IQ is Oh
She really loves to be an authoritarian jerk doesn’t she
The efforts to put pressure on the leaders of Illinois are spread out thin so any concerns to re-opening aren’t heard. Is there a Facebook group in Illinois similar to other states? North Carolina has a “ReopenNC” facebook group with 21,000 people while Michigan has “Michiganders Against Excessive Quarantine” with 262,000 members. If we had something similar in Illinois to centralize efforts for rational thinking to strike a balance between a quarantine & reopening business then maybe the leaders would change their tune.
most people in Illinois are too stupid, weak and selfish to actually stand for something other than what the government shoves down their throat… its why its been a democratic slime pit for essentially forever
Our forefathers are rolling in their grave. We can’t let this tyranny continue.
On the other hand, we have to be prepared, in the second waves, for the disease to run like a steamroller through elderly and obese community, and it’s going to kill a large number of them. This is nature and it’s culling the herd, as sad as this is.
3 million people die annually in the US. Will this Chinese virus pull in from future years for that number? Very likely yes.
JB is saying he wants 10,000 tests a day. Why? At that pace, it would take over three years to test everyone once. And he also wants treatments to lower the severity of the symptoms before loosening the restrictions. I’m at a loss for words 🙁
So the curve is not only flattening but bending down. Yet we still can’t let people go earn a living because …?
Oh, I remember! You can never have too many government dependents!
When has a tyrant failed to justify their crimes or give up their power? Worst of all are the tyrants who claim their tyranny is in the best interest of those they rule
I understand that if we had places like McCormick Place packed because all of our social distancing just wasn’t working, or we acted too late in social distancing. But places like New York that were harder hit, or Texas which has yet to peak, are talking about lifting the orders. You have to consider slowly lifting the restrictions when this current May 1 order ends and keep a pulse on the hospitals before you turn “flattening the curve” into “bending it back to 0”.
