All the GOP House members on the call Wednesday said they supported the governor’s stay-at-home order and appreciated the changes made in the new version that went into effect Friday — now labeled Phase 2 of the governor’s reopening plan. But they said that the four regions in the plan are arbitrary and that decisions about when to reopen should be evaluated on a more local level.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
