A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
It’s not just restaurants that will close. The landlord will have vacant stores and restaurant destinations will be shuttered along with the other retail and service businesses in the vicinity. It’s going to be very, very bad. Very brutal. I’m not trying to be hyperbolic, but this really truly is the Great Depression II that will affect all of us.
