. What she stated — It means technically even if you died of a clear alternate cause, but you had COVID at the same time, it’s still listed as a COVID death. Even if you died in a car accident and were given the test after you arrived at the hospital after passing and it was positive–Covid death.

The numbers are padded. They get more money back from the Federal government for every positive test, for each time a ventilator is used, for a positive death.
