REMOVE MADIGAN FIRST. HE HOLDS THE MOST SLAVES IN U.S. HISTORY; WE THE PEOPLE OF ILLINOIS. IS HE HATEFUL? YES. IS HE CORRUPT? YES NO DOUBT; HE WILL WANT HIS VERY OWN STATUE OF MONUMENT. IF ONE ALREADY EXISTS,IT SHOULD BE REMOVED.

You may be one of the most insightful people I’ve encountered about the cancel culture. Thank you! We should not erase Madigan from history. We should build a statue of him so we NEVER FORGET the economic pain he has inflicted on the residents of Illinois.

A statue for a President who’s legacy is the suffering people of Libya where you can find actual slave trade. Come again?

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
