Nancie Zobrist, of the Highland Chamber of Commerce, takes particular exception to his argument. “My concern here is that the casinos are still allowed to be open, still have people inside, and only required to follow the 25% capacity rule — and they have liquor licenses. It would be logical to conclude that people in casinos also talk loud, don’t wear masks and drink alcohol, which can make people less risk conscious. Right?"

Could you write a series of articles about the theft charges facing Illinois State Rep. Carol Ammons (D-Urbana)? She is under investigation for the Jan. 10th shoplifting of an $80 Coach purse at a charity thrift store in Urbana. The story would tie that it to her subsequent sponsoring of Illinois House Bill 5830. Her Bill removes legal and contractual protections from workers accused of wrong doing. Rep. Ammons should be compelled to apply the proposals in her Bill to her own shoplifting incident.

If you’re upset with Pritzker’s handling of the Covid, look to Democrats who granted him unlimited executive orders. If you voted for those Democrats, look in the mirror.

A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
