Chicago-area hospitals watch surge in COVID-19 patients, brace for things to get worse – Chicago Tribune*

“We are definitely seeing an increase in hospitalizations that we noticed for the first time on Thursday,” said Dr. Stuart Marcus, Amita Health’s executive vice president and chief clinical officer. “We noticed it right away and said, ‘Oh boy, all right.’” Amita, which has 19 hospitals in Illinois, had 169 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 as of Monday morning. For most of the summer, its hospitals had 85-100 COVID-19 patients per day.

Remember when JB said he wanted 20,000 ventilators? We just got back to the 200 range and now everyone wants to freakout. This whole thing has played out like a bad movie. The media is just awful.

More fake fearmongering from the Democrat propaganda machine. Pritzker fakes the numbers. Lightfoot fakes the numbers.

I do not believe any numbers that Lighthead or Pritzker put forth. The numbers have been so jumbled and played with since the beginning there is no one place that has the truth.
The cases do not refelct an ective case either.

Expect the lamestream media’s fear mongering to reach even higher heights than when covid kicked off. First, it’s never defined as distinct from general flu/respiratory illness that always increases as we get colder, second, UNLESS they are giving you comparative DATA from 2019, it is NOT worth squat.
