Despite record case counts, Pritzker says he’s not considering another statewide stay-at-home order, at the moment – Chicago Sun-Times*

Pritzker said Monday, "If we believe these tiered mitigations ultimately are ineffective, if people choose not to wear masks and if the spread of the virus continues to go unabated, in a kind of community spread, we would obviously have to consider, you know, more significant mitigations." He didn’t provide specific numbers on what might be the threshold that triggers such a drastic step.

Go ahead Mr Governor, make my day. Issue another Executive Order like last time and see if people comply. We did in March but we will not this time. Look at the number of bars and restaurants still offering indoor service. They have to do this to put food on the table. When President Trump wins today it will partly be because of lock-down fatigue. You will also lose your tax proposal today thank goodness. There will no bail out for Illinois. Imagine what that stupid doofus would be doing if there were a Krispey-Kreme Pandemic!
The bar for Illinois Governors is set rather low. Don’t get sent to prison and they’ll name buildings after you. Don’t know if the State could afford to buy enough bronze to make a statue of that jerk. Is he nearing the end of his pathetic ego trip?
