Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Has anyone asked Kwame if he’s going to file criminal charges against Pritzker. Lisa Madigan was going to file criminal charges against Rauner because of deaths in the state home for veterans in Quincy.
Excellent point.
I’ve seen absolutely nothing positive come out of that office all he seems to do is play follow the leader, no incentive unless that office is pushed to the brink and it goes public. Time to make a lot of noise ladies and gentlemen.
Families that have lost loved ones need to make Illinois politicians pay for there malfeasance, if this isn’t the best case for reparations I don’t know what is the politicians are responsible for this from top to bottom and they all knew what was going on but did nothing, Pritzker you are the problem from day one along with Ezike neither one of you moved on this along with the neglect of are seniors in long term care facilities you were more worried about playing dictators someday you shall pay for your inactions. Judgment day is around the corner.
Absolutely, this is malfeasance at the highest criminal level for which kiddie doctor and Pritzker are accountable. We’ve known all along who the vulnerable are to this virus, the elderly, yet Pritzker and Ezeke have intensely corralled every other age group into the most potentially infectious pathogen carriers–even tying the highest spread rates to holiday family dinner tables. Ignoring the elderly population across this State while vulnerability to death from covid19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young.
